A group of scientists from New Orleans, which is the study of genetic diseases, especially cystic fibrosis - pulmonary disease in cats, for scientific purposes has created a cat that shines in the darkness. The genetically modified animal named Mr. Green Genes, is no different from others of its kind. The only way to get ahead of its specificity is under ultraviolet light, when the muzzle, eyes, gums and ears of the Cat turn green. Scientists claim that the insertion floruscentnog protein genes in this animal, completely harmless to animals, and is useful because it can easily be seen under UV light. Moreover, they say that this process could be critical in preventing the disease cystic fibrosis by modifying the DNA of animals, could localize and destroy the genes that are responsible for its creation.
